ARGGG!!!

I hate it when my team loses. Ok, so maybe I take things way too seriously, but why do I always have to lose. Tonight we had our first flag football game. I'm the captain of the team and the quarterback and so it's my job to make sure we win. But you're not going to win if you throw 3 interceptions, in case you were wondering. I just hate letting everyone on the team down. But we lost 12-7. Only by 5. Not super terrible- I just hate losing when the game is on the line.

Anyway, things are going well here in Chat-town. I am having a good time and trying to survive school at the same time. It's going by so fast!!!! I'm not even thinking about the future- it's too scary- but i should be. 2 years is going to be here before I know it. Then I have to find a real job, lol.

I went to a Braves game last Sunday with two of my good buddies, Carrie and Candy. it was such a good time! I love baseball...

Next week is fall break so I'll probably visit good ol' Hburg. But I won't get to see J-no so that's really sucks. It totally brings the fun down to 40% from 85%. Ha Ha, I'm so dumb, I know.

Oh, and I'm going to be a Pirate for Halloween. I'm so excited! Some friends are having a party and so it's going to be a blast! What are yall all going to be?

Hey Guys!

Sorry long time until last post....

I got a new computer a couple of weeks ago. Yea for me! It's a macbook. I've never used apple before so it's kind of scary b/c I don't know how to use everything - but I'm learning. I love it though.

I was supposed to go to a Braves game and so that was going to be really cool- then the girl I was supposed to go with got sick and the tickets didnt get here in time and so I ended up not going. It was ok but I was still really disappointed.

School is going well but it is hard. Football is a blast. We won last night : ) 27-26, came back in the last 50 sec! (Too bad ole miss SUCKS!) Next week we go to Charleston, SC. I'm really excited about going. (We're playing The Citadel). It's a 7 hour bus ride; i'm actually looking forward to the traveling though I'll never admit that to anyone else.

Friday I went out with my classmates; it was fun- maybe a little too much fun, lol! Tomorrow the Saints play, wahoo!!! They're going to be 3-0 baby- bring on the competition.

Ok, so after tonight I'm on going running everyday. You must hold me accountable. Agh, I've been so lazy, lol.
k, I'm going to study some more. Test in the morning and all.

Lots of love,
-kc

You All Everybody, How's it going?  Things are going decent for me.  I had my first week of classes:  Monday - Thursday from around 9 - 12:30- not too bad.  They seem like they're going to be really hard but I'm trying not to think about it right now!  After classes I have my clinical rotations.  They're not too bad right now.  I have UTC football for the next 5 weeks.  I am really enjoying getting to know all of the players and talking with them during practice.  Next Thursday is our first game; it's away at Tenn Tech.  I get to go so I'm excited.

Tonight I went out to a little pizza joint after practice.  It's so good- I love those mom and pop stores- so quaint.  Then after eating, Josh and I threw the frisbee for a little while.  It was so nice.  I haven't thrown in months and have been dying to throw for forever.  I wish I could play everyday... : )

So no practice tomorrow (or school  ) and so I need to find something to do.  Maybe run, go to the mall, get a haircut, lay out, study, and then go out?  I don't know, I'll figure something out.  Then practice on Saturday and Sunday but I have Sunday off so that's great!  But I feel bad for my classmates because it was a randomly scheduled practice that wasn't supposed to happen.

Well, that's all for now.  I'll talk with ya later!  - k_co

Hey Guys.

So sorry i havent' posted in a while.  I hate to go so long without updating...  But there's not much that happens that i feel is worthy of xanga updating... But if anyone's interested, i don't know, because hardly anyone i know of still keeps up with this, but some do, so I'll update.

So football started last week. It is so different than Ole Miss. UTC is a division I AA school and UM was a division IA school.  So first of all, instead of being at school from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, like at Um undergraduate school, we're only here from 3:00 to around 7 or 8:00 pm.  That's way awesome!  And then he gives us (the head athletic trainer) days off every few days.  ( I went with a friend to a minor league baseball game yesterday, fun!)  And then the practices are so much slower and easier than at ole Miss.  I guarantee that anyone who did  three weeks of football camp at ole Miss would have a totally different view of football and AT and two-a-days than doing them at UTC. ( ie., they would absolutely hate it)  But don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Ole Miss.  It was just a heck of a hard time during football camp.  And Utc is a joke compared to. But anyway, it's going good and I am pleasantly surprised football is so easy (so far...).

But I'm just griping.  Actually, I'm not really griping because I'm only comparing the two.  But I am tired right now (at 2:30a.m. eastern time) and a little lonely(well not really, but kind of...) and I miss my dear-old college friends.  But things are going good here.  I went out with a couple of girls tonight and it was a really good time.  We went to the river and just talked until like 1:00 in the morning.  Like I've said before, I want to make good friends here- I don't know though, I have so much doubt.

So what else?  School starts the 21st.  I want to go home and see my family but  I'm not sure about my schedule. I miss my brothers so much.  I just want to hang out with them.  So many times I think about where I want to live: to move off to Idaho or Colorado; or even Hawaii or freakin' England.  But then I think about being that bloody far away from my family and close friends and I don't think I can do it. I don't know.  Which one is really more important?  In the end, I think it's being with the family.   But I also want to experience life. It's hard.

So I finally get my financial aid money from the summer this tuesday.  That is definitely a God-send.  I praise God for this because I at one point wasn't even going to get financial aid for the summer.  If I wouldn't have, I would have been screwed.  For those of you not in college yet, you'll understand someday soon.  Anyway, I have a lot of bills coming up, so I am thankful it is coming when it is. (But it should have come a month ago, agh!)

So I guess I should go to bed now.  I have to be at school in 5 short hours.  But I love you all. All of you who read my post, ha ha.  J/K.  Goodnight to all.  I hope to see you soon....                                               kelli c.
